I was born in Montreal into a hockey family. My father, Scotty, was an NHL coach. My brother Stan is GM of the Chicago Blackhawks and my cousin Steve is a scout for the Washington Capitals. Even though the family business is hockey, my business is mortgages. Background: I graduated from DePaul University with a B.S. in Computer Information Systems. Prior to entering the mortgage business in 2001, I worked in the Global Best Practices division of Arthur Anderson.
About Scotty
Scotty Bowman, my Dad, is a retired coach with the NHL. He holds the record for most wins in league history, with 1,244 wins in the regular season an 223 in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. As head coach, he won a record 9 Stanley Cups. He coached the St. Louis Blues, Montreal Canadiens, Buffalo Sabres, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Detroit Red Wings. He’s currently the Senior Advisor of Hockey Operations for the Chicago Blackhawks.
